Here are some tips on how to motivate them to join you:

Exercise should never be forced. Success lies in structured freedom. This means giving children ideas and direction, then letting them explore within those boundaries.

What is the right amount after all? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that children get 60 minutes or more of daily physical activity. Besides, if the focus is really spent on “time” there probably isn’t enough fun in the activities involved.

Fun Fitness Routine For Kids

Sometimes, getting kids interested in fitness is as simple as adding a silly name or movement to an existing exercise like “Silly Shark Squats,” “Monkey Mountain Climbers,” “Puppy Pushups,” etc. In fact, enough exercises already have silly names like “Downward Dog” and “Burpees.”

At the end of the day it’s important to encourage, not force. Get dirty and do these exercises with them. Get them used to being outdoors and keep positive thinking while doing these activities. It not only will create a healthy lifestyle, but instill confidence at a very young age!
